Treat yourself to a little retail therapy!
Indispensable, useful, never futile, tools echo the dexterity of the craftsman, a founding value for Hermès. Essential and therefore precious, these commonplace yet out-of-place objects have been designed to last, to gain a patina, to embrace the effects of the passing of time, and to be passed on from hand to hand. Screwdrivers, hammers, brushes and corkscrews… they are all coming to petit h.
On 21st January 2018, petit h, Hermès’ laboratory for (re) creation, founded in 2010 under the artistic direction of Pascale Mussard, opens La Quincaillerie, its quirky Hardware collection. Staged in collaboration with designers Stefania Di Petrillo and Godefroy de Virieu, an array of utilitarian novelties will cover the shelves of the Hermès store at 17, rue de Sèvres, Paris. Hammering, drilling, mending, repairing, attaching, hooking, organising, hanging, and maintaining an abundance of ingenious objects for every purpose.
